Overseas Missions

"And you will be my witness...to the ends of the earth."

  • Vietnam

Threats, imprisonment and physical persecution are faced by those who serve the Lord outside of Vietnam's heavily regulated "official church."

In 1993, God opened the door for Go Forth Ministry to work in Hong Kong refugee camps, where 60,000 Vietnamese boat people were held in detention. Many of these young refugees became believers and returned to their homeland with a call to preach the gospel.

Today, we contiue to support Vietnamese Christians who are spreading the gospel through house churches, Bible printing, and education.

  • Taiwan

In 2007, a Vietnamese believer named Barnabas was called by God to go to Taiwan. With no contacts and no plan, he went to the island and discovered a large number of Vietnamese immigrants hungry for community.

Today, Brother Barnabas runs several churches across Taiwan, leading the Vietnamese to Christ and equipping them as disciples when they return to their home country. Go Forth Ministry is proud to partner with Brother Barnabas financially, as well as with volunteer teams to come support his ministry in-person.

  • China

When it comes to Christianity, no country is as cold as China. The vast majority of Christians in China meet in underground churches to avoid persecution.

For over 20 years, Wendell Martin led teams of people to carry Bibles across the border into China. In more recent years, government crackdown has made it practically impossible to safely deliver Bibles to Chinese Christians.

Thankfully, we are still able to financially support the discreet printing of Bibles from within the country. Please continue to pray for these believers, who are suffering more than we can imagine in the name of Christ.

Since 1980, Go Forth Ministry has spread the Gospel all over Asia.
