Local Missions

These are our new projects reaching out to young people in America. If you would like to commit to supporting them, let us know.

  • Discipleship & Art

    Go Forth Ministry's new direction: discipling young artists who will have a positive spiritual impact on American culture. We have felt a pull toward local missions for some time, and new are getting the ball rolling with this new mission field.



    How you can pray/support:

    • Since this is a new focus, there are still many unknown, unexplored concepts. Walking by faith is the name of the game. Please pray that God gives us both direction and clarity of mind as we pursue His will in this new thing.
    • We have many exciting opportunities in front of us! As we begin, please pray that God will send the right people for the job, who are hungry for Him and ready to commit to this work.

  • Creative Team

    Jaren has formed this team of young artists, creative thinkers, and disciples who are tasked with exploring this new mission field and seeking our path forward. We believe God has put them together to break the ice in a new realm.



    How you can pray/support:

    • Please pray that God gives them the courage to step into new places and touch lives, without fear and confusion.
    • Pray that God gives direction for new projects and commitment to them. Ask that God opens doors for us to devote ourselves to this work as He would have us do.

  • The Brothers Baer

    This is GFM's first step into the arts world. Jaren and his brother David are putting together a show, with support from the ministry, in order to reach young artists.



    How you can pray/support:

    • Please pray that we are able to create the most excellent show we are capable of creating.
    • Pray that this opportunity will connect us with the right people, artists whom God will use to disciple many in our generation.
    • A project like this has many costs attached. Any amount of support you give will be helping us step into this mission field.

  • Taiwan Vietnamese Church

    Since 2007, Brother Barnabas has been pastoring Vietnamese immigrants in Taiwan. Mostly young men, these workers and students are equipped as strong Christians who can spread the gospel when they return to Vietnam.



    How you can pray/support:

    • There is a need for facilities, not only to hold meetings, but to house and feed church members over the weekend.
    • The congregations of these churches are always cycling through since the members are constantly returning to Vietnam. Barnabas and his wife are looking for new leaders who can be devoted to the ministry as much as they have been.
    • The members at these churches are the Gospel's gateway into Vietnam. They are in good hands with Barnabas! Pray that the Lord will spiritually equip them with everything they need.

  • Pastors in Vietnam

    For many years, Go Forth Ministry's biggest financial investment has been Vietnamese pastors and Bible school programs. These are believers on the front lines, following Christ even in the face of persecution from the Vietnamese government.



    How you can pray/support:



    Many pastors in Vietnam operate out of total faith, not knowing how God will provide for them. 

    • You can provide financial support for pastors' outreach to minority tribal groups, leper colonies, retired government officials, and more ($55/month = support for 1 pastor). 
    • You can also pray that the Lord gives them courage and faith ever increasing.


    Former members of the Taiwan Vietnamese Church are providing a Bible school program for new believers in Vietnam. 

    • Go Forth Ministry is currently supporting 20 people to be in this program in house churches all over the country. Your financial support toward this cause will equip new spiritual leaders in this high-risk environment ($1070/year = support for 1 student).

  • China Christians and Bibles

    China has cracked down on Christianity. It is incredibly easy for the government to track down and punish members of a house church, which has led to most of them going off the grid and untraceable. While this climate is difficult, there are missionaries who are boldly returning to support the Christians in China.



    How you can pray/support:

    • While carrying Bibles is no longer an option, we are still able to funnel money to those printing Bibles within the country ($3 = one Bible printed).
    • Pray for increased boldness and courage for the believers in China, as well as the missionaries returning to support them.

  • Long-Term Missionaries

    There is a need for long-term missionaries who can help the Vietnamese believers, not just from a distance with financial support, but up-close with the work of their hands.



    How you can pray/support:

    • Please pray that God will put the call on people's hearts and send the workers needed. These missionaries would heavily depend on your support through Go Forth Ministry.
    • If you feel called to this work overseas, please reach out and tell us what the Lord is saying to you.

Overseas Missions

This is a list of current prayer requests and needs from Go Forth Ministry's partners in Asia. If you would like to commit to supporting them, let us know.

  • Taiwan Vietnamese Church
